Who controls your information
Predator Comps UK is the controller for personal information used to run this website and its competitions. Contact us at info@predatorcomps.co.uk or 22 Carrion Grove, Holmer, Hereford HR4 9WF.
Information we collect
- Account and eligibility details, including name, contact details, date of birth and address.
- Competition entries, skill answers, ticket numbers, order totals, payment status and prize history.
- Messages sent to support and records needed to resolve an enquiry or complaint.
- Security and technical records such as sign-in events, device or browser information, IP address and fraud indicators.
- Winner verification and delivery information.
We do not ask you to send card details to us. A configured payment provider processes payment credentials under its own privacy information.
Why we use it
- To create and secure accounts, accept eligible entries and perform our contract with entrants.
- To allocate tickets, run draws, verify winners and deliver prizes.
- To prevent fraud, protect the service and establish or defend legal claims where we have a legitimate interest.
- To meet accounting, tax, consumer-protection and other legal obligations.
- To send optional marketing only where consent or another lawful basis applies; you can opt out at any time.
Who receives it
Information is shared only as needed with service providers that host the site and database, authenticate accounts, process configured payments, deliver email, handle support forms, prevent fraud or deliver prizes. It may also be disclosed where required by law or to protect legal rights. Providers must be assessed and covered by appropriate data-processing terms before launch.
International transfers
Some service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where that happens, we use an applicable adequacy regulation or approved contractual safeguards and any required supplementary measures.
Retention
We keep account, entry and payment records only for as long as needed to run competitions, answer disputes, prevent fraud and meet legal or tax duties. Support messages and unsuccessful verification material are deleted or anonymised when no longer needed. We periodically review retention rather than keeping records indefinitely.
Cookies and local storage
Essential browser storage is used to keep an authenticated session and basket-related state secure. Non-essential analytics or advertising technologies must not be enabled until an appropriate consent choice is available.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, and may withdraw consent. Contact us using the details above. We may need to verify your identity. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Security and changes
We use access controls, row-level database rules, secure transport and restricted administrative functions. No online system is risk-free. Material policy changes will be dated and published on this page.
